Who We Are

Raleigh Dispensaries (raleighdispensaries.com) is a directory of hemp-derived product retailers in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill Triangle area of North Carolina. We do not sell products, and you do not need an account to use the site. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit, who processes it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics 4 on every page to measure traffic, such as which pages are visited, how long visits last, how people arrived (for example from a search engine), device and browser type, and approximate location (city or region). Google Analytics sets first-party cookies to tell visits apart. Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Hotjar: We use Hotjar (now part of Contentsquare) to understand how visitors use the site. Hotjar may collect usage data such as pages visited, clicks, mouse movement, scroll depth, device type, and approximate location, and it sets cookies to recognize returning visitors.

Server and security logs: The site runs on a server operated by Hetzner and managed through RunCloud, and all traffic passes through Cloudflare, which provides our content delivery network and security filtering. These providers record standard log data, including IP addresses, browser type, the pages requested, referring pages, and timestamps. We use this data for security, abuse prevention, and performance. Cloudflare may also collect anonymous performance measurements.

Maps: Dispensary, city, and directory pages display maps using tiles from OpenStreetMap. When a map loads, your browser requests tiles directly from OpenStreetMap's servers, which receive your IP address and the map area being viewed.

Cookies

Google Analytics and Hotjar set cookies to measure visits and distinguish visitors. Cloudflare may set cookies needed to protect the site from malicious traffic. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not run ads that track you across sites, and we do not sell or share your personal information for advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site still works without them.

Children's Privacy

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and most of the retailers listed here sell only to customers 21 and older.
