About Raleigh Dispensaries
Raleigh Dispensaries is an independent directory of hemp-derived product retailers. We help people find and compare dispensaries in Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary, and surrounding areas. We do not sell products. The site is owned and written by Jake St. Peter, who lives in Raleigh.
Our Mission
North Carolina's hemp market is growing fast, but finding a reliable dispensary can be confusing. Our mission is to bring transparency and trust to the local cannabis market by providing accurate, up-to-date information about dispensaries across the Triangle area.
What We Do
- Maintain listings of hemp dispensaries across the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area, and add new shops as we confirm them
- Provide accurate hours, locations, contact information, and product details
- Publish educational content about hemp laws, product types, and consumer safety in North Carolina
- Help dispensary owners reach more customers through our directory listing tiers
For Dispensary Owners
Basic listings are free. Paid tiers add photos, deals, and featured placement, and every paid listing is labeled “Sponsored” wherever it appears. Paying never changes our editorial content, and the “Verified” badge is earned, not sold: it means the business confirmed its details with us directly, and free listings can earn it too.
Get Your Dispensary ListedWho Runs This Site
Raleigh Dispensaries is owned, written and edited by Jake St. Peter. Jake lives in Raleigh and also runs Dirigo Creative, a Raleigh web design and marketing studio, which builds and hosts this site. Every article here is Jake's, and so is every listing decision.
The work is mostly checking. Jake tracks North Carolina and federal hemp law, including the 2018 Farm Bill, NC Session Law 2022-32, HB 328, and the federal hemp rewrite in P.L. 119-37 and its December 11, 2026 start date, and updates the site when it moves. Listings are checked against live Google data, each shop's own website, and what owners tell us directly. When an owner corrects us, the owner's answer wins. Our articles are general information, not legal or medical advice.

For Reporters
Jake can talk about the Triangle hemp market, North Carolina hemp law, and what the December 11, 2026 federal change means for local shops. Our December 11 report counts what the Triangle's hemp shops sell, and you are welcome to cite it with a link. Email [email protected].
